How to measure your ring size at home (using a paper strip)?

What you need:

• A thin strip of paper (about 1 cm wide)

• A pen or pencil

• Scissors

• A ruler (millimeters)

Step-by-step instructions

1. Cut a strip of paper. Cut a long, thin strip of paper wide enough to wrap comfortably around your finger.

2. Wrap it around your finger. Wrap the paper tightly (but not uncomfortably) around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.

3. Mark the overlap. Use a pen to mark the exact point where the paper overlaps itself.

4. Measure the length. Lay the strip flat and measure from the start of the paper to your pen mark. Measure in millimeters — this is your finger circumference (EU ring size).

5. Compare with a ring size chart. Match your measurement to a standard ring size chart.

For example:

• 54 mm → EU size 54

• Divide that number by 3.14 and you will get the diameter of your ring (finger). 54 : 3,14 = 17,2.

Tips:

• Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest.

• Measure 2–3 times for accuracy.

• Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
